All here is going fine. Five kids, two in the Chicago area. Sara, one of the twins, is living in Naperville, IL and Waler, Jr., in Elgin, IL. Sara got married in January and has four kids the oldest being 16, then 12, 9, and 6. I inherited 4 grandchildren -- just great. Jeff, the other twin, is in Orlando, FL and has one girl 8. Amy, who lives in the Charleston, SC area, has 2 kids and Becca is in Greenville, SC and has no kids, she just got married.

My wife Becky is an RN and is still working so I can be retired. I am very active in different organizations: the B.P.O.E.ELKS, from the an Exalted Ruler VP to DDD National; Past Master of the Masonic Lodge in, believe it or not, Barrington; and I am now running for the first chair, or Divan, of Ali Ghan Temple Shrine in Maryland. So, all these keep me busy. I also drive one of those funny little cars in Shriner parades.

And, yes, I collect flamingos, the tackier the better; and no, not real live flamingos. They’re in the yard, the house, all around. I started collecting them about 1985 when we moved to Maryland. Whenever we are on vacation we buy some, all sizes from 1/2 inch to 4 feet. Try to get them on an airplane, legs in the golf bag the rest in a suitcase, lots of fun.
