Paul
W. Miller Jr., 66, of Crystal Lake, died Friday, May 12, 2006,
at Northern Illinois Medical Center in McHenry as a result
of an automobile accident.
Paul was
born Jan. 21, 1940, in Elgin, to Paul and Florence (Farwell)
Miller. He married Elizabeth J. Gridley on April 11, 1964.
He was the store manager for Famous Footwear in Crystal Lake
and McHenry. Paul
was a member of the Church of Holy Apostles in McHenry, an
avid sports fan, especially of the Chicago White Sox, the
Chicago Bulls and the Chicago Bears, and he loved being outside,
in particular in his own yard driving his tractor.
He loved
his family and was a very loving husband, father, grandfather
and friend, and will be remembered as a fun-loving, truly
caring man.
Survivors
include his wife of 42 years; four children, Joyce, Paul (Gayle),
Tony and Matt; three grandchildren, Sarah, Emma and Jackson;
and a sister, Sharon Bebe. He was preceded in death by his
parents; a sister, Delores (Miller) Berry; and two brothers,
Robert and Richard.
