I successfully located Winnie Sumner Fiandaca in August and got a chance to visit with her during her stay with her son Royal Hartwig in Lakewood, Illinois in August. Nita Catlow Hayward and I met with her for a nice visit on August 18th to reminisce and hear about her life since High School.

She moved with her family to Fullerton, California after her Sophomore year. She attended Fullerton College for three years but did not graduate. She married Royal Hartwig (Class of '56) in 1962, had Royal Jay ( in '65) and Andrea Joy (in '67). Royal was owner of Hartwig Transit until his death in 1998. Now his son Royal Jay owns the company.

Winnie says she will be at the 50th Class Reunion for sure. She has lived in Arizona for seven years -- and never got the mail we sent to her previous California address with no indication she had moved. Now we can keep in touch
with her. She would love to get emails from classmates at winfia@cox.net.
